About this tool
Docs to Image Converter renders every page of a PDF or Word (.docx) document onto a canvas in your browser, then exports each page as a standalone PNG or JPEG. PDFs are rendered with the same Mozilla PDF.js engine used by Firefox's built-in PDF viewer. Word documents are rendered with a dedicated OOXML layout engine that reproduces the document's real page size, margins, fonts, colors, alignment, tables, and headers/footers — then paginated and captured page by page, so formatting matches the original far more closely than a simple text-to-HTML conversion. Choose a resolution before converting — Low (72 DPI) is fine for quick previews or web use, Medium (150 DPI) suits most documents and printing, and High (300 DPI) is best for text-heavy pages or when you plan to zoom in. JPEG output includes a quality slider for smaller file sizes; PNG is always lossless.
Once converted, download pages individually or grab all of them at once as a single ZIP archive. Your file is never uploaded to a server — parsing, rendering, and image encoding all happen locally on your device.
